WHERE WE ATE & DRANK

The Barbary (covent garden location), a single horseshoe counter built around a fire featuring the cuisine of the Barbary Coast - from Southern Europe to Northern Africa. The entire menu is meant to shared and while the breads and dips are not to miss, watching them cook everything in front of you makes it hard to choose just what to order.

La Compagnie, a cute neighborhood wine bar located in Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden that offers small plates, cheese boards and charcuterie. A perfect stop for before or after the theatre!

Mountain, a one star Michelin restaurant from the same team as BRAT focusing on Basque- and Balearic-inspired wood-fired small plates.

Bocca di Lupo, an Italian restaurant that showcases all regions of Italy, changes its menu twice daily. and offers full and half portions so you don’t have to choose just one pasta.

Bancone (covent garden location), an informal yet elevated experience of wine and hand made pasta. Pull up a seat at the bar, open a bottle of wine and order an extra pasta to share because one is more delicious than the next.

THINGS TO DO

Kit Kat Club, to see the musical Cabaret, which has won seven Olivier awards, is the perfect evening adventure. Beginning from the moment you walk into the theatre, this production is an immersive experience from start to finish. Arrive early to take a peak around, enjoy a cocktail and bump elbows with the cast.

Palace Theatre, to see the production of Harry Potter & The Cursed Child, which has won nine Olivier awards, is the perfect family friendly event for all ages.

Victoria Palace Theatre, to see the musical Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hip hop and rap musical following the life of US Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton. The Victoria Palace Theatre underwent a multi-million pound renovation to be able to house the 11 Tony award, Grammy award and Pulizter Prize winning musical.

The Tom Stoppard Theatre, formally the Duke of York Theatre, to see the musical RENT, a rock musical written by Jonathan Larson that follows a group of impoverished young artists in New York City’s East Village struggling with poverty, gentrification, and the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

National Portrait Gallery, a museum featuring drawings, portraits, sculptures, paintings, silhouettes, caricatures and sketches from 1485 to present day.
