Costa Rica

PURA VIDA

It’s not just a phrase, it’s a greeting, a way to show respect for the land & culture, and a way of life. From the mountains to the beach, the ethos is felt in every aspect of life here. The warmth of the people, the freshness of the cuisine and the beauty that surrounds you. Every year we take a July birthday trip as our birthdays are eight days apart, and this year, we chose Costa Rica! Because there are only nonstop flights offered on Saturday, we decided to extend our trip by a few days and stop in Miami for two nights on our way there. Once in Costa Rica, we decided to split our time spending half in the mountains, in Perez Zeledon, and half by the beach, in Nosara. Below you’ll find our Costa Rica overview with need to know information. View our three other blogs for more in depth information on our escapes to Miami, Nosara & Perez Zeledon.
